It really seems early at this time of year, and the
sun's orbit moves further south. As we waited for the word to head out, we
got the first glimpses of a beautiful sunrise. |

Our first stop was fir breakfast at
Cougar Creek, just west of Edmonton
on Hwy 16. A little jockeying for position in the parking lot, and what a
pretty picture emerges. |

|
After a leisurely breakfast, it was off to see the
countryside. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very cooperative, but it
was a fun and sometimes spirited drive none-the-less. |

We concluded our driving tour with a tour of Jack
Ondrach's shop, just North of Edmonton. |

We were treated to pastries, bagels, coffee, and juice ... which
was certainly appreciated. Thanks to Esther and Jack Ondrack
for their generous hospitality, and to Keith and Dave for explaining
some of the finer points of race car fabrication and preparation.
